Inside R&D Dept, Sidenor has advanced means such as electronic microscope. R+D is a key competitiveness factor. In the 80´s, Sidenor had the vision to create one of the biggest R+D centres of the steel industry in Europe. Sidenor participates in different European projects such as the RFCS (Research Fund for Coal and Steel) and in areas like offshore carrying out technological developments for the optimization of processes and products in collaboration with its customers.
